In the early 1900’s, Ruth’s grandfather, Stanley Elphinstone moved from Roseville in Sydney to Mudgee settling on one of the 80 acre divisions available at that time. He and his wife had five children, one of whom was Ruth’s father. Little did anyone know or think that one day, Ruth and her husband Michael, would settle in Mudgee, let alone buy 50 of those original 80 acres to build a beautiful and elegant guesthouse called “Myan Breezes” which is now filled with wonderful antiques, tasteful décor and original artifacts bought from all over the world.

"Myan Breezes" is situated on 50 of the most beautiful grazing acres, overlooking the historical and delightful township of Mudgee. Being less than 5 minutes north of its centre, “Myan Breezes” is surrounded by some of the best vineyards & olive groves Mudgee has to offer. Each suite offers unique and spectacular views over the property, abundant with native fauna, birdlife, and our own alpaca's and cattle. Guests can view all of this from their beautifully designed suites, private balconies and the magnificent conservatory where breakfast is served each morning!

Our Beautiful Rooms

Myan Breezes has 5 sumptuously appointed suites, each sure to please the most discerning guests. Each suite has generous proportions with either King or Queen bed, the best linen, en suite and unparalleled private views over the Mudgee countryside. Imagine enjoying a Mudgee sunset as you sit on your private patio sipping Mudgee's finest - which you purchased during the day.

Penelope

Penelope and Matilda are set in their own cottage separated from the main building for privacy. Penelope is a romantic french inspired suite replete with a stunning queen bed, exquisite crisp Egyptian linen and a wrap around balcony for your private enjoyment.

Penelope's modern clean-lined bathroom has a 2 person spa bath to relax in, a shower with lovely views over the property. Both Cottage rooms have small kitchenettes with their own microwave oven, fridge, sink and tea and coffee facilities.

Penelope is a favourite amongst our guests looking for that truly romantic and private getaway or something extraordinary for that special event.

Matilda

Matilda is the second suite located in the Myan Breezes' cottage - it too has spectacular views over the local vineyards looking back towards the Mudgee township. Watch the stunning local sunsets or wonder at the twinkling lights of Mudgee as the evening settles in - nothing could be more relaxing!

Matilda is a warm-toned romantic suite with its own spa en suite and fully equipped kitchenette yet only a stroll from the facilities in the main house.

Anna Belinda

Anna Belinda is located in the main house in the guest wing. This beautifully appointed room has specacular views looking back towards the township of Mudgee and mountains surrounding the valley of Mudgee.

There is a beautifully appointed designer en suite complete with 2 person spa and shower to relax in after a hard days wine tasting around the district. Come back and freshen up before dining in one of the great local restaurants or country pubs.

Molly Nicole

Molly Nicole is a huge room with king-sized bed and country-style furniture. This cozy suite feels like a ski lodge it even has a stunning original photograph of Yosemite to inspire you.

Molly Nicole is ideal for adult families or traveling couples as it shares a massive federation style en suite with Bella Skye. So you can be private but close to your friends for when you want company.
